Oceano Fresco launches new GoParity round focused on flat oyster production
Oceano Fresco has just launched a new funding campaign on the GoParity platform, this time dedicated to the production of the European flat oyster (Ostrea edulis). This is the first time the company runs a round specifically for this species, signalling a strategic shift in its evolution.
The campaign aims to raise up to €350,000, with a 2‑year term, annual interest rate of 6.65%, and an 18‑month grace period.
Funds will allow Oceano Fresco to scale up its flat oyster production line, invest in innovative cultivation systems, and explore partnerships and markets across Europe. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to “nutrient-rich and high-value bivalves” — alongside clams, flat oysters are now a key focus for future development.
